Grandstand finish

25 April 2013

Owls midfielder Giles Coke is aiming to finish the campaign as strongly as possible with two games left to play and Peterborough next-up.

Victory over Posh on Saturday would guarantee Championship safety but depending on results elsewhere, Wednesday could go into the early evening kick-off clear of danger.

But no matter what the situation is come 5.20pm at London Road on Saturday, Coke is targeting a three-point return from the crunch clash.

He told swfc.co.uk: “We know one win from the next two games will guarantee safety and everyone is confident we can do that.

“The Peterborough game is going to be really tough but they all are. We know what to expect from them and hopefully we can put a performance in.

“Even if we are safe, we still want to go out and win the game because we want to finish as high in the league as possible.

“The fact it’s a late kick off changes nothing for us because we want to win the game regardless of what the situation might be.”

Approximately 180 seating tickets remain for Owls fans at London Road.

Tickets will be on sale until 3.00pm on Friday (26 April) depending on availability.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Owls Megastore or online at shop.sheffieldwednesday.co.uk.

Supporters who purchase their tickets online but cannot collect from Hillsborough, will be able to do so at London Road.
