10 April 2013

Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme still has places remaining in the summer for National Citizen Service (NCS) aimed at 16 and 17 year olds.

The SWFC community programme is hosting an event at Hillsborough tomorrow (Thursday 11 April) where you can secure your place for just £35 (normally £50), plus, get £25 back on completion!

NCS is a new government-funded youth programme, and is designed to bring together young people from diverse backgrounds to teach teamwork and communication skills within their local community during the summer holidays.

Owls defender Reda Johnson said: "NCS is a once in a lifetime opportunity for 16 year olds to learn new things, and make a real difference in their local community whilst representing SWFC."
