Sheffield Wednesday’s Ability Counts team are through to the northern regional final of the inaugural FA Disability Cup after beating Boro Rangers FC on penalties.
After a hard-fought 3-3 draw and extra time stalemate, SWAC won an exciting penalty shootout 5-3, with Gavin Foster smashing home the decisive spot-kick.
SWAC are now through to the last four teams in the competition.
The regional final will take place at the Leicestershire FA on Sunday 21 April.
The team are now just one game away from the final at St George’s Park, the brand new National Football Centre in Burton.
