The SWFC Community Programme would like to offer thanks to Activity Sheffield following the success of the fans’ zorbing challenge at Hillsborough.
As the Owls took on league leaders Cardiff, another battle took place at half-time when home and away fans went head to head racing giant zorb balls the length of the pitch.
While the contest was closely fought, the SWFC team triumphed in both the adult and child races but fans on all sides of the stadium enjoyed the spectacle.
The zorb balls were supplied by club partners Activity Sheffield and SWFC Community Officer Steve Taylor thanked the organisation, which provides sports sessions on behalf of the city council.
He said: “I would like to thank Activity Sheffield for providing the inflatables and excellent matchday entertainment for the crowds at Hillsborough.
“Our partnership is going from strength to strength and we are looking forward to working together on half-time activities for the future.”
