Team news

Owls: David Prutton has been ruled out for three months following an ankle operation.

Giles Coke (hamstring) remains unavailable, while Lewis Buxton (groin) and Michail Antonio (knee) are unlikely to feature at Vicarage Road.

Watford: Almen Abdi (foot) is in contention following his return to training last week. The midfielder had suffered a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Ikechi Anya returned from a thigh injury last time out against Leeds and could feature again on Saturday.

The Hornets have lost their previous four games on home soil.

One to watch – Troy Deeney

The Hornets striker was back amongst the goals last weekend, scoring twice against Leeds as Watford earned a point in the 3-3 draw. Deeney’s tally is now up to nine for the season.
