Budding young footballers can enjoy the perfect start to 2014 by joining Sheffield Wednesday’s January football activities.
For one day only the club’s Community Programme will host a special New Year Soccer Camp at the Owls’ Training Ground on Middlewood Road.
Delivered by fully-trained coaching staff, the camp offers young Owls, aged five to 14, the chance to learn valuable skills in a fun and safe environment.
The session will run from 10.00am to 4.00pm on Friday 3 January at a cost of just £10.
Community Manager Marcus Brameld said: “The SWFC Community Programme enjoyed a successful year in 2013 with our Soccer Camps entertaining almost 2,000 children.
“We have plans to make 2014 even bigger starting with our New Year Soccer Camp which offers youngsters the opportunity to learn new techniques, to enjoy their football and meet new friends.
Sheffield Wednesday hosts a range of football, dance and multisport camps during all school breaks at locations across the city and further afield.
