Owls loan ace Jeremy Helan has hailed the feelgood factor at Sheffield Wednesday.
The Manchester City man has said the good feeling around the club was what attracted the talented youngster back to Sheffield.
After a successful loan spell earlier in the season, Helan returned to Wednesday in January where he will remain until the end of the term.
He told swfc.co.uk: “I was really pleased to come back here, it’s where I wanted to be.
“The results have improved as well. When I first came in, we were struggling to win games but that has changed and we want that to continue.
“To be getting results against big teams in this division such as Brighton and Hull and to come back the way we did against Derby shows this club is on the up.
“We should be higher up the table, I’m sure we can climb even higher and who knows where we can finish.”
Helan has impressed for Wednesday in his wide attacking role and has also lavished praise on team mates Danny Pugh and Reda Johnson, whom he has formed a good partnerships with on the left.
He added: “Danny Pugh has been brilliant both on and off the pitch.
“He gives good advice on how to improve as a player and uses his experience well.
“Reda is a big personality in the changing room and has a great influence on the team. He’s big and powerful and scores goals which is always important.
“As we don’t play this week it will be chance to see family and prepare right for the next game. When you train every day, you often don’t have time to think and plan ahead but I think this gap has come at the right time and we’ll all be ready for the Birmingham game next week.”
