Team news

Owls: Wednesday boss Dave Jones will make a late judgement on those players who are nursing knocks after a busy period of fixtures.

With no suspension concerns this weekend, the Owls will be out to extend their good run of form away from home which has seen Wednesday win three and draw one of their last four games on the road.

Charlton: Striker Danny Haynes is close to making his return after being sidelined with a hamstring injury.

But Addicks boss Chris Powell is unlikely to make too many changes to his side after making the perfect start to 2013 with three wins from three in the Championship.

View from the dugout

Dave Jones said: "There are one or two players nursing knocks. But we're still in good shape and we'd like to bring in a couple to help us out."

Chris Powell said: "After having such a tough time in December, and having a few knock-backs we have really set off this year in the right way away at Watford. I think after Saturday’s win at Blackburn, and the Blackpool game, we have given everyone that lift that we wanted to."
