Wednesday fly out to Portugal 24 hours later for their annual pre-season tour that incorporates two friendly encounters in the European sun.
Portugese top-flight side Braga provide the opposition at the Estádio Municipal de Albufeira on Tuesday 16 July, then the Owls take on newly-promoted Premiership side Hull at the same venue on Saturday 20.
Wednesday Player is the ONLY place to access highlights from both games, in addition to the pre-match build-up and post-match reaction.
It’s back to base for Dave Jones’ men on Wednesday 24 July as the Owls host Scottish giants Rangers in a prestigious friendly at Hillsborough, which is the club’s only pre-season contest on home soil.
SWFC wrap up their summer schedule with a trip to Chesterfield the following Saturday.
