Wednesday winger Jermaine Johnson has received a call-up from the Jamaican national squad.
The Reggae Boyz are scheduled to play Panama and Costa Rica later this month and both games are FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Jamaica will first of all play host to Panama in Kingston on Friday 22 March before travelling to San Jose on Tuesday 26 March where they will take on Costa Rica.
The 32-year-old featured for Jamaica last month in their 0-0 draw against Mexico. Prior to that game, Johnson’s last cap for his country came back in November 2009 in a friendly against South Africa.
Johnson has made 36 appearances for Wednesday this season, scoring three goals.
