Johnson features for Jamaica

Owls winger Jermaine Johnson has been back on the international stage for Jamaica over the past week, featuring for the Reggae Boyz in their World Cup qualifying campaign.


Having played a part in Jamaica’s 0-0 draw with Mexico in February, Johnson made appearances from the bench in the recent games against Panama and Costa Rica.


Jamaica played out a 1-1 draw with group-leaders Panama on home soil on Friday 22 March, with Johnson coming on for the final 11 minutes.


The Reggae Boyz were back in action yesterday (Tuesday 26 March) against Costa Rica were they suffered their first defeat of the campaign. The Owls forward made his introduction from the bench on the hour.


Jamaica resume their World Cup qualifying campaign on Tuesday 4 June against Mexico.
