Sheffield Wednesday will face Chesterfield at the Proact Stadium in a pre-season friendly ahead of the 2013/14 campaign.
The warm-up fixture will take place on Saturday 27 July and is scheduled for a 3.00pm kick off.
The League 2 outfit narrowly missed out on a play-off finish in 2012/13 – finishing two points short of seventh position – as the club won seven of their final 12 fixtures.
