The Owls’ Under-18s shared eight goals in a Middlewood Road thriller with Coventry on Saturday.
A pulsating clash saw Wednesday go 2-0 down before Jack Stobbs and Franck Betra restored parity.
The visitors then went 3-2 up only for Betra to get his second goal of the game and haul the Owls level.
Coventry scored again to make it 4-3 but Warren Clarke equalised once more to give Wednesday a share of the spoils.
Stobbs tweeted after the game: "Poor performance from us today but got a draw from the game 4-4, happy to get on the score sheet again, now on to the youth cup!"
The Wednesday youngsters are next in action against Crystal Palace in the FA Youth Cup on Tuesday 10 December (7.00pm), with entrance priced at £3.
