Sheffield Wednesday are enjoying the benefits of a generous donation from a local car company.
South Yorkshire family firm the Burrows Motor Company has offered the use of two vehicles to assist the club in their travels around the country.
The Owls’ Commercial Director Andy Daykin said: “Sheffield Wednesday have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with Burrows Toyota and are delighted to be making good use of two brand new vehicles.
“They have provided us with a Toyota Pro-Ace long wheel base high-roof 2.0d, along with a Hyundai ix35se 4wd from the group’s new Burrows Hyundai dealership – the support of the Burrows Group is really appreciated.”
Manager Dave Jones and players Chris Kirkland and Stephen McPhail met with the firm’s Sheffield Senior Sales Executive David Williamson as he handed over the keys.
Mr Williamson commented: “As a business based in the Hillsborough region, Sheffield Wednesday provide us with the perfect platform to promote our brand. The two vehicles we have supplied to the club are perfect examples of our product range.
“We would also like to take this opportunity to wish Sheffield Wednesday every success for the remainder of the season.”
