Owls: Jose Semedo will serve the first game of his three-match ban.

 

 

The midfielder received a straight red card at Bolton last weekend and will miss out at Oakwell.

 

David Prutton (ankle) is also ruled out, otherwise Wednesday have no further injury concerns.

 

Barnsley: The Reds picked up their first win in the Championship since August in last weekend’s 3-2 success over Middlesbrough.

 

Luke Steele (back) and Peter Ramage (thigh) will miss out for Barnsley.
