Team news

Owls: Lewis Buxton (knee) is back in training and has travelled with the squad, as has striker Chirs Maguire who has recovered from a toe injury.

Matty Fryatt could be in line to make his first start for Wednesday, while loanee Jordan Spence has returned to parent club West Ham.

Anthony Gardner (Achilles) remains sidelined, otherwise the Owls have no further injury or suspension concerns.

Brighton: Leonardo Ulloa and Kemy Agustien are in contention to return to the squad.

Ulloa has completed his three-match ban for seeing red at Reading last month while Agustien has recovered from a groin injury.

Jake Forster-Caskey is likely to feature this evening having made a return to first team action last weekend against Ipswich.

Liam Bridcutt (hernia) and Andrea Orlandi (knee) continue their recovery but will miss tonight’s game.

Craig Mackail-Smith remains on course for a November return to action while Will Hoskins has a longer recovery period.

One to watch – Leonardo Ulloa

Argentine forward Ulloa is likely to lead the line for the Seagulls this evening and will certainly be a goal threat for the hosts.

The striker scored 14 goals last season – ten of which were for Brighton after joining the club in January 2013. Ulloa has scored four goals in seven appearances this season.
