The Premier League and the Championship take a back seat this weekend for the first international break of the season.
With that in mind, and no game for Wednesday, why not get behind this year’s Non-League Day?
The aim of the day is to get as many supporters as possible to attend a Non-League game and Sheffield Wednesday are urging fans to get involved!
The day has been a huge success in previous years with swelled crowds recorded across all local clubs.
In the absence of a Wednesday first team game, why not keep football a part of your weekend and give your backing to one of the following:
Sheffield FC, Stocksbridge Park Steels, Hallam FC, Worsborough Bridge or Penistone Church.
Non-League Day is growing each year with various events and includes coverage on BBC Radio 5live, and Sky’s Soccer AM, who help spread the word.
