Owls: Loan signing Roger Johnson is available to play while the Owls are awaiting clearance for fellow new recruit Stephen McPhail to make his bow.

Lewis Buxton will be pushing to make his return to the side following his recovery from a tight hamstring.


Birmingham: The Blues have bolstered their attacking options with the loan signing of Manchester United youngster Jesse Lingard.

Lee Clark has confirmed that the 20-year-old attacking midfielder will start on Saturday.

Striker Akwasi Asante (hamstring) could be back in the squad following his recovery from injury.

One to watch – Chris Burke


Scotland international Chris Burke has made a positive start to the season with two goals and two assists to his name.

A popular player at St Andrews, Burke was crowned as the Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year in 2011/12 and impressed last term, with City taking up a one-year option in the summer of 2013.
