Team news

Owls: New loan signing Matty Fryatt is eligible for the Owls’ home clash with Doncaster on Saturday.

Defender Lewis Buxton (knee) is a doubt for the weekend although Wednesday boss Dave Jones has not ruled out a return for the right back.

Chris Maguire will undergo a scan for an injury to his toe.

Anthony Gardner (Achilles) remains sidelined, otherwise the Owls have no further injury or suspension concerns.

Doncaster: Striker Harry Forrester will miss the clash against the Owls this weekend.

The 22-year-old had recovered from an ankle injury but suffered a tear to his quad in Rovers’ reserve fixture with Scunthorpe and will now be sidelined for four to six weeks.

Federico Macheda is likely to line-up in the Rovers attack after making a strong start to his Keepmoat loan spell, scoring twice against Nottingham Forest last weekend.

One to watch – David Cotterill

Cotterill played a vital role for Doncaster last season in the club's promotion to the Championship, scoring ten goals and provided the most assists in the division.
