Owls strike nominated

The League Football Education’s (LFE) Goal of the Month competition has returned for the new season – and the Owls are represented in the August vote.

Jake Ellam’s strike for the Under-18s against Birmingham is one of seven goals from which supporters can select their favourite.


The full list is as follows:

 
GOAL A: James Ward, Portsmouth v PETERBOROUGH
GOAL B: Oliver Watkins, EXETER  v Swindon Town
GOAL C: Kelvin Osei-Addo, MK DONS v Leyton Orient
GOAL D: Jake Ellam, Birmingham v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY
GOAL E: Otis Khan, Sheffield Wednesday v SHEFFIELD UNITED
GOAL F: Kelvin Osei-Addo, MK DONS v Southend
GOAL G: Josh Cook, SWINDON  v Hereford


The 2012-13 competition attracted over 150,000 views via LFE’s YouTube channel and LFETV and chief executive Alan Sykes said: “This competition remains hugely popular with players, clubs and the general public and is a great opportunity to showcase talented young footballers that are currently being produced by Football League clubs across the land.”
