Sheffield Wednesday Under-21s face Derby County at Moor Farm today, 1.00pm kick off.
With a number of player from the Owls’ Under-21 squad away from the club on loan, Wednesday are set to take a young side to face the Rams.
Development Squad coach Lee Bullen said: “We have Taylor McKenzie and Mani Dieseruvwe away on loan which will weaken our squad, but on the other hand is fantastic for their development.
“That’s what this squad is all about, development.
“Derby have historically been one of the toughest teams to face at this level so it will be a good test for the younger members of our squad who will be stepping up.”
