- Lee Bullen hails the progress of Franck Betra
- Young striker added two more goals to his tally against Hull
- Owls coach believes Betra can go all the way
Owls coach Lee Bullen predicts a bright future for striker Franck Betra.
The 17-year-old has been a regular threat for Wednesday’s Under-18 and Under-21 squads and produced the goods this week against Hull.
Wednesday overcame the Tigers 2-1 at Middlewood Road with Betra scoring a double to secure the win.
On the young talent, Bullen said: “He’s still got a bit to do, he still frustrates at times but he has got everything in his locker.
“He got his two goals against Hull and that is always great for a striker.
“I think he’s got a bit of work to do on his link play, as you would expect because he’s a young boy, but he has got the raw materials to go all the way.
“We’re working with him every day to get those basics right but he is a great asset to have at this club and I’d rather have him in my team than in the opposition’s team.”
