Head coach Stuart Gray has challenged his squad to build on and better their achievements from previous campaigns.

With the new season edging ever closer, Gray has set his players various goals, both long and short term.

Ahead of the Owls' visit to Brighton tomorrow, he said:

“The players have set the standards and I’ve set the players new goals, short term and long term.

“We’ve got a good squad of players here and we know what each of them is capable of.

“One of the goals I’ve set is, can you beat and better what you did last season?

“Chris Maguire got ten goals last season so his aim is obviously to score a minimum of 11.

“I want players like Jacques Maghoma to chip in with more goals because we know he can do that.

“We want to keep the ball out of the net at the other end as well.

“I felt we conceded too many goals towards the end of last season so that is another target I want us to achieve.”
