Having impressed in pre-season on trial with Wednesday and put pen to paper on a short term contract, Dejan Kelhar has spoken of his delight at joining the Owls.

The experienced defender featured in a string of pre-season friendly fixtures for Wednesday after linking up with the squad during the five-day training camp in Slovenia.
On Wednesday morning, in the week leading up to the big kick-off against Brighton, Kelhar signed in his contract at Hillsborough.
He told Wednesday Player: “I showed the coaches and players over pre-season what I could do and the head coach obviously thinks I can help the team.
“They decided to sign me and I’m very happy about that. I will do my best for the club and to help the team be successful.”
Now that the Slovenian international has committed his short term future to the club, the defender is looking forward to the new term and added:
“I feel I am fit and ready to start my time here. I’m like all the players; looking forward to the season and hopefully we can be successful.
“One thing I can promise the fans, is that once I am on the field I will give my heart for the team.”
