Supporters' reminder

1 August 2014

Sheffield Wednesday are reminding supporters of their conduct regarding the setting off of smoke bombs or flares at Owls fixtures, home or away.

As has been emphasised in the recent past, the club are committed to eradicating this unacceptable behaviour and will undertake additional searching as well as instructing CCTV operators and stewards to be increasingly vigilant to assist in identifying those in possession of such articles.

Anyone found to be in possession of any banned item, whether set off or not, will receive an indefinite club ban from Hillsborough and all away matches. Such an offence will also lead to arrest by the Police followed by a charge and criminal record.

All supporters should be aware that it is an offence to be in possession of such articles at a designated sports ground.

Thank you for your co-operation.
