Following intermittent problems experienced by Wednesday Player subscribers during the games against Notts County and Derby County this season, service providers PERFORM have issued the following statement:
“We are aware some subscribers to the Wednesday Player service have been experiencing recent issues with the live audio commentary service.
“PERFORM AV engineers and support teams have investigated the matter thoroughly and believe the root cause of these issues lies within external ISDN lines.
“We have now moved the audio feed to another commentary slot and a different ISDN line. We believe this should resolve the issue although we will continue to monitor this closely.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and effect on fans’ enjoyment of the service.
