Sheffield Wednesday have signed former Millwall defender William De Havilland.
The 19-year-old has penned a one-year deal at Hillsborough and will go into Lee Bullen’s Under-21 squad.
Huntingdon-born defender De Havilland joined the Lions’ academy after impressing during a trial game against Fulham and went on to feature regularly for the Millwall Under-18s and Under-21s.
The young stopper joined Skrill North club Histon on a short term loan deal in February 2014, adding to his previous loan experience from earlier in the campaign, when De Havilland joined Southern League Premier side Cambridge City in December 2013.
