Atdhe Nuhiu has tagged the Owls’ progress through 2014 as ‘phenomenal’.
The Wigan match-winner helped haul Wednesday back into the Championship top ten in midweek, underlining just how far the team have come over the calendar year.
He said: “If I compare last season to this season we are much, much far away from where we were.
“We have to think how far we have progressed and that progress is phenomenal.”
So to what does Nuhiu attribute that progression?
“We have much more belief in ourselves. The manager always gives us the belief in how good we are and we have the best team ethic.
“We are hard to be beat because everyone works hard for each other and we know we can win games by team work and we do not lose games by team work.”
