Having dominated Blackpool for most of the game on Boxing Day, Stuart Gray was just pleased to emerge with the three points.
The Owls won 1-0 courtesy of a Chris Maguire penalty to return to winning ways following back to defeats.
And Gray said: “To be honest, I am happy to be sitting here with three points after a game like that.
“I had visions of the Millwall game when they scored with the last kick, especially when their goalkeeper came up for the corner.
“But it would have been harsh had we conceded because I felt we were in control of the game.
“But what it does do is highlight the need to get that second goal.
“We had the chances and their goalkeeper made one outstanding save from Stevie May, who was really unlucky.
“One day, everything will drop for him and he will get a hatful.”
