Opposition view: Kit Symons

Fulham boss Kit Symons says his side will have to be patient this weekend as the Owls visit Craven Cottage.

Given the Owls’ strong defensive record, the Whites’ manager believes Fulham must also be ruthless in front of goal and take their chances.

He said: “We need to be patient, we need to keep the ball, we need to work the openings, and when they come along – there won’t be very many – we need to make sure we’re ruthless in front of goal and take our chances when they come.

“Stuart Gray is someone I know very well. When I was caretaker at Crystal Palace, Stuart came in and helped out, and I learned a lot from him back then.

“He’s meticulous in his organisation and his planning, so there will be no surprises from them.

“They’ll be very well organised, well drilled, and know their roles and responsibilities, which is something Stuart prides himself on.”
