Owls face tough Terriers test

1 December 2014

  • Kick-off 7.00pm at Hillsborough
  • Full Owls squad below

The Owls Development Squad face one of their toughest tests of the season this evening against Huddersfield at Hillsborough.

The Terriers arrive in excellent form having won nine of their 13 fixtures this season.

Lee Bullen said: “This is a good test for us because Huddersfield have been the benchmark at this level.

“They have won league titles, they have strong recruitment and it’s one we are looking forward to.

“They do not lose many games and are very strong up top and defensively. We beat them last season in the cup but other than that, they have had the better of us.

“But that said, we have come on leaps and bounds recently. But it’s all about picking up points.

“It’s a difficult one who to leave out because they have all been doing well. There are a lot of unlucky lads who have been left out tonight but that has nothing to do with form.”

Owls: Dawson, Young, Floro, De Havilland, Sanders, Lee, McCabe, Croasdale, Lavery, Hanna, Dieseruvwe

Substitutes: McDonagh, Meadows, Stobbs, Beatson, Brown
