- Keiren Westwood makes key save
- Stuart Gray salutes Owls goalkeeper
Stuart Gray has hailed Keiren Westwood’s crucial second half stop against Blackpool as his ‘save of the season’ so far.
The Owls’ goalkeeper somehow kept out a powerful close range header from Ishmael Miller to preserve a much-needed home win on Boxing Day.
Gray said: “It’s probably the best save Keiren has made this season.
“And one of the main reasons I say that is because Keiren had very little to do in the game but his concentration levels were very good.
“I’m sure their centre forward is beating himself up there wondering how he has not scored. It was a fantastic save.”
