Tom Lees cut a frustrated figure after the loss to Wolves on Saturday but the defender insists Wednesday must look forward with fixtures aplenty over the coming weeks.
Lees says the squad as a whole will take responsibility for defeat at Hillsborough but the main thing now is to target a return to winning ways at Fulham next week.
He said: “Fulham will be a massive game. We talked about getting a good haul from these games.
“We need to be cemented in that top half when the New Year comes around.
“We have to pick ourselves up and get ready for it. Fulham got a good result at Leeds so they will be confident.”
Lees says goals must come from all areas – not just from the strikers – and everyone must take responsibility on that front.
“You can’t pin it all on the strikers. We have not scored enough from set pieces. We have to contribute more from that area. We have to keep providing the strikers with chances.
“The only way we are going to get better at it is if we address it and do something about it.”
