One Wednesday supporter was overjoyed when he scooped a huge cash prize after being announced as the Owls Foundation's jackpot winner.
Season Ticket holder Philip Rhodes from Sheffield was presented with a £12,500 cheque by Owls midfielder and academy product Liam Palmer prior to the Barnsley game.
Philip, who has followed the Owls for 49 years, has been a Foundation member since its inception in 2003.
He said: “During all my years watching Wednesday I have never been on pitch so to share this experience with four generations of my family was an extremely proud moment.
“I would definitely recommend joining the Owls Foundation because it’s a great way to support the club’s youth development programme and be in with a chance of winning cash prizes and matchday experiences.”
