Sheffield Wednesday have agreed to sign Adedeji Oshilaja on an emergency loan deal from Premier League side Cardiff City.
The 20-year-old will remain at Hillsborough until Wednesday 12 March.
The defender joined the Cardiff academy as a 16-year-old and progressed through the ranks before signing his first professional contract with the Bluebirds in April 2012.
Oshilaja made his professional debut in August 2012 in a Capital One Cup-tie against Northampton and went on to feature for Cardiff in their FA Cup clash with Macclesfield in January 2013.
In November 2013, the powerful centre back signed on loan at Newport County and made 12 appearances for the League 2 side, scoring one goal in a successful loan spell at Rodney Parade.
Oshilaja will wear jersey number 35 during his S6 stay.
