Stuart Gray has welcomed the home draw with Charlton in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The Owls progressed to the last 16 courtesy of Saturday’s 2-1 win at Rochdale to earn the Hillsborough tie with the Addicks, which will take place on Saturday 15 February.
And the newly-appointed head coach believes the draw represents an enticing fixture for both sides.
He said: “It’s a great draw and all that we could have asked for, a home game against a team from the Championship.
“I guess we will be the favourites because we are at home but I’m sure Charlton will look at this tie and be pleased that they have avoided a team from the Premier League.
“A cup run is always welcome for many reasons but as far as we’re concerned, that game is in three weeks and before that we have some very important games in the Championship.”
