In a further development to the Owls’ official website, the landing page – or ‘splash page’ as commonly known in the online industry – has now been disabled.
This move, in association with FLi and SapientNitro, will significantly enhance the user experience of the hundreds of thousands of regular visitors to swfc.co.uk
Feedback from users cited the landing page as a hindrance to their enjoyment and as a consequence, this facility has been permanently removed, which will aid the continued growth of the website.
Recent figures collated underline swfc.co.uk as one of the most visited sites on the entire FLi platform, which goes hand in hand with the Owls’ equally popular multimedia networks.
SWFC continue to be amongst the market leaders in this key area for football clubs, generating increasingly impressive statistics through its various online portals.
Only two clubs in the country on the FLi circuit– from the Football League and Premier League – boast more subscribers to Player, which remains the ONLY place where supporters can access full online commentary of all the Owls’ first team games.
Meanwhile, subscribers to Wednesday’s official YouTube channel are growing on a daily basis and the Owls’ Facebook and Twitter portals house over 100,000 likes/followers combined. Again, these figures are rising every day.
