Connor Wickham has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for December.
The in-form striker played four games for the Owls in the last month of 2013, scoring as many goals.
Wickham bagged a brace against Leicester before finding the net versus both Watford and Charlton.
The Sunderland hitman is up against Craig Bryson (Derby), Danny Drinkwater (Leicester) and Kieran Trippier (Burnley) for the accolade.
The winner will be announced on Friday afternoon.
