8 July 2014

New for the 2014/15 season, we’re giving Owls fans the chance to get to know the Sheffield Wednesday players a little bit more, thanks to a new matchday programme question and answer Twitter feature, #asktheplayers.

Each week we will be asking Owls fans to tweet us their burning questions for one of the players using the hashtag, #asktheplayers. The best ones will be put forward to the player in question and make up part of the new Q&A feature.

This is your chance to find out specific information on your favourite players, whether that be what they like doing at the weekend, how they first got into football or even what they have for breakfast on matchday!

As well as the interactive Twitter feature, the perfect-bound programme is going up from 76 to 84 pages, offering Wednesdayites even more content, news and features from the heart of Hillsborough.

But while the page count will rise, one thing that won’t is the cost which will remain at just £3, offering excellent value for money.

Follow Sheffield Wednesday on Twitter @swfc and watch out for the #asktheplayers hashtag to send in your questions for the players!

The Owls are to face Newcastle United in the only pre-season friendly at Hillsborough this summer on Wednesday 30 July, where fans will be able to first sample the new-look matchday programme and which will he debut of the Twitter Q&A feature.

As well as following the club on Twitter, fans can also keep updated on Facebook, Sheffield Wednesday FC and on Instagram @swfcofficial.
