- Matchday ticket prices confirmed for 2014/15
- New category C grade introduced
- Category B prices frozen
- £1 increase for tickets on matchdays removed
Sheffield Wednesday can confirm details of home match ticket prices for the 2014/15 Championship campaign.
The club are delighted to announce that a new Category C grade has been introduced which will see tickets priced at just £10 for adults and £5 concessions for two fixtures during the season.
Also new for 2014/15 is a price band of only £8 for all juniors aged 10 and under for Category B games in any stand, saving up to £11 on 2013/14 prices.
In addition, Category B prices have been frozen, with just a minimal £1 increase on the four Category A games.
The Owls are also pleased to announce that the £1 increase for purchasing tickets on matchdays has been removed for the upcoming season.
Ticket Office manager Alastair Wilson said: “A key aim was to keep prices affordable and we believe we have achieved that, initially through Season Tickets and now matchday pricing.
“The introduction of two Category C games is also a great opportunity to try and fill the ground as much as we can for those particular games.
“We have managed to cap the increase to a minimum of £1 and with the removal of the £1 rise on the day, the introduction of Category C prices and our cheaper junior matchday prices, supporters benefit overall.
“Becoming a Season Ticket holder still offers the best value for all supporters, with the next best thing undoubtedly our Owls Membership packages which offer excellent value for those who attend more than four or five games.”
