The Owls reported back for pre-season training on Tuesday morning in blistering conditions at Middlewood Road.
The sun was blazing in S6 as Stuart Gray gathered the players – from academy level through to the seniors – and laid down his expectations for the gruelling six-week period ahead.
The hard work then began as the players were put through their paces by fitness coach Andy Kalinins and his staff.
Wednesday kick off their summer game schedule with a trip to League Two side York on Saturday week, with friendlies to follow against Bury, FK Čukarički, Doncaster, Newcastle and Barnsley.
