Having scooped another major award during the 2013/14 campaign, plans are already underway to make ‘Wednesday’ – the Owls’ official matchday programme – bigger and better.
To add to the growing lists of accolades, ‘Wednesday’ landed ‘the consistency of a top quality football programme over a number of years’ prize, as named by the IV Northern Programme Club.
But Owls fans can expect even more from the club’s award-winning publication for the coming 2014/15 campaign.
The perfect-bound programme is going up from 76 to 84 pages, offering Wednesdayites even more content, news and features from the heart of Hillsborough.
But while the page count will rise, one thing that won’t is the cost which will remain at just £3, offering excellent value for money.
While early plans have been put in place with regard to creating fresh content and new features, the club are asking Owls fans to tell us what they would like to see in each edition!
Suggestions can be made to the club’s Communications Department by emailing programme@swfc.co.uk
The Owls are set to face Newcastle United in the only pre-season friendly at Hillsborough this summer on Wednesday 30 July, where fans will be able to first sample the new-look matchday programme.
