Season Ticket second phase success

23 June 2014

Sheffield Wednesday are delighted to have surpassed the 13k mark of 2014/15 Season Ticket sales following the end of the second phase and wish to offer a huge vote of thanks to supporters.

The Ticket Office at Hillsborough reported strong sales over deadline weekend and this morning, staff have been busy with Wednesdayites switching to the best possible available seats in anticipation of the new campaign.

Season Ticket sales have now ceased until the third and final phase, details of which will be confirmed in due course.

The thousands who have already committed will be receiving new cards, available to collect from the Ticket Office from 13 July.

Supporters who booked online and paid postage will have their cards delivered by post.

Ticket Office manager Alastair Wilson said: “Season Ticket sales are comparable with last year, which is really encouraging.

"Of particular note is that the club will welcome over 1,000 brand new Season Ticket holders to Hillsborough.

“We had a very busy weekend, as is always the case with deadline sales.

“The club would like to thank supporters for their patience and, of course, for purchasing their Season Tickets for a third successive Championship campaign.”

Remember, if you did not have the opportunity to take advantage of the initial Early Bird period or the second phase of sale, you can still benefit from significant savings during the third phase against match by match prices.
