Summer soccer camp place up for grabs!

19 June 2014

The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme are giving one lucky entrant the chance to attend a week’s summer soccer camp worth £45, just by entering an online competition!

For the first time the community programme, the club’s charitable arm, has launched a one-off social media competition for one lucky child to win a place on the camp which takes place at the club’s Middlewood training ground in Hillsborough.

The camps run from 21 July to 29 August, from 9:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday and are facilitated by expert coaching staff from the club’s community programme to teach children aged five – 14 to develop skills, technique and standard of play.

The summer sessions are a great way to gain confidence in the game and also let the aspiring footballers make new friends and build confidence.

There will also be chances to win prizes and an opportunity to progress onto the development centre.

To be in with a chance of winning the place people need to ‘re-tweet’ the competition tweet on the official Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme’s Twitter account - @SWFCCP

The winner will be announced on the community programme’s official social media channels on Tuesday 24 June.

To be eligible to win, the entrant must be following the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme Twitter account.

People can also save 15 per cent on the camps if booked before 11 July. To find out more information please contact the programme on community@swfc.co.uk or call 0114 324 0523
