Sheffield Wednesday are pleased to report a strong uptake of 2014/15 Season Tickets during the first week of sales.
Last week, the club announced an initial five-week Early Bird period for next term’s Season Tickets and already over 1,000 have been sold.
This marks an impressive rise when compared to the first week of sales last time round.
Purchasing a Season Ticket during the Early Bird period is the most cost-effective way of snapping up your seat at Hillsborough and Owls fans who buy now will receive the equivalent of at least five games absolutely FREE. The Early Bird period is available for both renewals and new Season Ticket holders.
One particularly strong area of sales is the introduction of a new category for young adults, in which SWFC have seen an encouraging rise in the 17-20 age group commit to a 2014/15 Season Ticket.
For young adults, those aged between 17 and 20 now stand to gain considerable savings of up to 40 per cent and Sheffield Wednesday are delighted by the popularity and early success of this new category.
18-year-old Robert Stirling, who was amongst the first to buy his Season Ticket during the Early Bird period, said: “I’m really happy with it. I travel to a lot of away games so a Season Ticket is important to me.
“This season I was priced as an adult but now that concession period has been extended, it has made a massive difference to me financially.”
The Early Bird deadline for 2014/15 Season Tickets is Monday 31 March. After this date, Season Ticket sales will be withdrawn until the second period of sale, when the maximum discounts available will reduce.
Remember, purchasing a Season Ticket is the guaranteed cheapest way to watch Wednesday and receive all associated benefits.
