Sheffield Wednesday are pleased to report that Season Ticket sales during the current Early Bird period have soared through the 10,000 barrier.

Thousands upon thousands of Owls fans have shown their colours by committing to 2014/15 – and still time remains today to get on board.

The Early Bird window – during which supporters are guaranteed the best possible price to watch Wednesday at Hillsborough next season – is open until 7.00pm tonight in store and midnight online.

Owls youngsters Liam Palmer and Caolan Lavery will be meeting and greeting fans at 5.00pm in the Ticket Office, which has extended its opening hours to cope with this busy period.

Season Ticket sales so far have already exceeded those of last year’s Early Bird and the club would like to thank Wednesdayites for their outstanding support.

Chairman Milan Mandaric said: “I have said since I first came to Sheffield Wednesday that the supporters breathe the life into their club.

“The Season Ticket sales have been incredible and we are all so grateful for the level of support they provide.

“It shows that our supporters have trust in their chairman and that means everything to me.

“It also gives me so much positive pressure and it is important that we continue to build on the progress we have made since December 2010.”
