The Owls Under-21s drew 1-1 with Birmingham at Middlewood Road on Friday afternoon.
Chike Kandi gave the visitors a first half lead but Wednesday responded in the second half and equalised through Simon Hanna.
Following a quick break upfield led by Adam Hinchliffe, the midfield man fed Charlies Dawes who centred for Hanna, and the young Irishman’s back post header found its way into the net past Callum Preston.
David Prutton and Gary Madine both stored 45 minutes in the Development Squad fixture.
