Striker Leon Best has extended his loan deal at Hillsborough until the end of the season.
The forward, on loan from Blackburn, originally penned a loan deal in February 2014 and made his debut from the bench against Derby at Hillsborough.
Best played his part in the victories over Huddersfield and Middlesbrough and re-opened his Owls account in the FA Cup clash with Charlton.
In total, the ex-Newcastle man has made 19 appearances for the Owls, taking into account the striker’s two previous loan spells in S6.
Wednesday face Birmingham on Saturday at Hillsborough and Best is eligible to feature.
