Sheffield Wednesday will offer a warm welcome on Saturday to Prostate Cancer UK.
Prostate Cancer UK are the Football League’s official Charity Partner.
Throughout the season, the Owls have championed the work of the charity by promoting key services for men and highlighting joint fundraising efforts.
The new campaign introduced ahead of the 2013/14 season – Men Utd vs Prostate Cancer – has significantly raised the profile of the charity and awareness of the disease.
As the Owls face Birmingham at Hillsborough on Saturday, the clash with the Blues is the club’s designated game for PCUK’s Season of Action.
As well as an update of the vital work of the charity in the matchday programme and activity on the day, there will be bucket collections around the ground prior to kick off in order to raise vital funds for combating the illness.
