Young Owls talent Cameron Dawson has been selected in the England Under-19s’ 23-man squad to take part in a training camp next week.
The camp will run from Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 May after which Under-19s boss Noel Blake will narrow his squad down to 18 for games against Montenegro, Ukraine and Scotland, as they aim for a place in July’s Euro Championship finals in Hungry.
The 18-year-old has spent the final few months of the 2013/14 campaign on loan with League Two side Plymouth and has regularly shone at Under-21 level for Wednesday.
The academy product has previously attended various England training camps and received call-ups to the Under-18 and Under-19 squads.
